Our Hollidays

Hi my lovely friends, i thought it would be nice to share with you a few pics of my hollidays at the Glenville House Hotel in Windemere - Cumbria- UK.

On arrival, we were met with a very warm welcome from proud owners of...

Our room was at the top of the hotel, View through the big window

looked onto the beautiful back garden and patio area,

which overlooked a stream them a wood with a lot of wild life around

including a beautiful red mountain deer and her baby

a sight not to be missed.

Our room was large bright, quite and peaceful, i loved the

little thoughtful idea of a chocolate mint left on our pillows when

the staff had made up our bed, a jar of home made biscuits for us

and more than enough toiletries for our stay.

Breakfast was plentyful very tasty with a good choice of food.

Staff were friendy and very helpful too.

Weather was just perfect.

We were overwhelmed at the place  we saw, toured all the shops

and local places surrounding Windemere, Bowness and Kendal.

On cruise trips around the lakes.

Ken working for the British rail some years ago, had to go on the old steam engine.

We would recomend anyone to have a holliday in Windemere

and a stay at Glenville House.

Thanking Craig and Lynne for their hospitallity and friendship

in making this holliday a memorable one for years to come.

Would we return?

Most certainly will.
